ABOUT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday School at Roland Park Presbyterian Church seeks to encourage students to learn the basics of the Christian faith, to lead students to make the Christian faith their own, and to encourage the students to practice their faith in their daily lives.

All Education classes and activities are rooted in the Presbyterian/Reformed Tradition: Biblically based, historically informed, socially engaged, communally nurtured, and ecumenically involved. Whether in worship, at work in the world, or in the classroom, Roland Park Church is an active, vital congregation that welcomes everyone into our house.

Vacation Bible SchoolIn order to achieve these goals, our Sunday School staff will:

· Recognize all students as children of God and thusly as gifts from God.

· Encourage Bible literacy, as the Bible is the primary source of knowledge about God and Jesus Christ.

· Provide an age-appropriate curriculum in an environment that is safe, conducive to learning, open to questions, fun, exciting, and where students are loved for who they are.

· Encourage regular Sunday School attendance and life-long participation in the Christian education process.
