About Us
RPPC is a church where you will be welcomed; you will be encouraged to explore faith; to share your passion and to make a difference. At 200+ members, RPPC is large enough to have many special events and volunteer opportunities, yet small enough for the term “church family” to have real meaning. From our beautiful sanctuary to the spacious youth room to the first-floor Sunday school rooms – each a different color – to our Assembly Hall with its full stage and adjoining kitchen, we at Roland Park have a building of which we are proud. It is in use every day of the week, not only for worship and education and church meetings, but also for community events and gatherings. But the church is not a building, it the people who gather there to recharge their batteries so they can be strengthened for life’s journey and challenged to live the faith every day at work, at home and in the world. Come see us anytime, particularly on Sunday.
There is a well in this place filled with care, mutual acceptance, strength, and love. Supplied by God, it is kept fresh by the people you see near you now. I have contributed to this source and I have drawn from it; maybe you have too. By the grace of God it never empties. It is the church: the koinonia, the people of God, the communion of believers, brothers and sisters we can touch and love, surrounded by God’s presence, here and everywhere. -Karl F.
