The amount that humans can learn is amazing. We learn all the time, every day, in many different ways and we never stop, no matter how old we are. We are constantly adapting, evolving. We are the only species with such a drive to understand and create meaning.
Even though we all learn differently, with some preferring to read and others preferring to listen and some others preferring hands-on experiential learning, the ability to learn truly is a gift. At RPPC, we encourage learning in all of its forms as a way to better understand God and each other.
During Common Time recently we painted frames that were donated by congregants as one of our tangible offerings. This multigenerational learning activity will result in great reminders for some of our older members and friends of their loved ones.
