Outreach Opportunities

Mission at Roland Park Presbyterian Church is fundamental to our faith.

Our emphasis is focused on providing opportunities for hands on participation for our congregation to enrich both our personal and collective spiritual lives as well as those that we serve.

We concentrate our time, talents and financial resources in two broad areas: families in Crisis and shelter.  Mission committee members, as well as any member or friend of RPPC, advocate for more than 20 different organizations that need our help.  But we don’t limit our involvement in just those two areas.  Any organization in need that our members are passionate about can be considered for resource assistance.

Although most of our effort to date has been directed to relatively local and regional needs, we are beginning to expand our reach.  We recently introduced specific opportunities for our congregation to engage in mission efforts in Baltimore and beyond.

Currently our three core partnerships are:

Sarah’s Hope

Patrick Allison House

Kay Papa Nou in Haiti

Other regular opportunities include:

ANNUAL THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE (Month of November) Non-perishable food is collected to benefit local food pantries, pet food is collected for Meals-On-Wheels clients with pets.

Alternative Giving

ANNUAL MITTEN TREE (December) Hats, scarves, gloves and mittens are collected for those in need of a little extra warmth.
