The amount that humans can learn is amazing. We learn all the time, every day, in many different ways and we never stop, no matter how old we are. We are constantly adapting, evolving. We are the only species with such a drive to understand and create meaning.
Even though we all learn differently, with some preferring to read and others preferring to listen and some others preferring hands-on experiential learning, the ability to learn truly is a gift. At RPPC, we encourage learning in all of its forms as a way to better understand God and each other.
Our Christian Education program strives to address the learning and formation of all of our members in fresh ways.
How can we help our young people understand abstract concepts like “stewardship” and “mission”? We can show them what generosity looks like, provide a visual representation of giving.
Confirmation classes are offered every few years at RPPC, when there is a group of young people who are ready to join the church.
If you like a trip to the theater or enjoy going to the movies, we have a group for you. Our faith on film group gets together to view relevant movies or theater productions, meeting afterwards at a restaurant or cafe to discuss their messages about faith.
Do you love to read? SO DO WE!!! That’s why we’ve formed a book group.
