A dedicated wife and mother, and long-time Towson resident, Jen is a true “people person” who brings to RPPC a solid background in communications, project management and customer service. She spent many years at the Baltimore office of international public relations and marketing firm, Weber Shandwick, where she provided account management to agency clients in the areas of education, healthcare and finance. After leaving the agency to have her daughter, Jen became an Orton-Gillingham trained private tutor and also held part-time marketing positions for companies in the education and insurance sectors.
Outside of work, Jen’s writing skills have garnered praise. A 1996 Washington College graduate, she won the college’s Sophie Kerr Prize which is the nation’s largest undergraduate award for excellence in writing. She is a poet who has been published in Baltimore’s City Paper and in literary magazines such as Four Corners and Red River Review. Her poem, Killing the Tree, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize Prize in 2004. As a busy mom, Jen has less time for poetry these days but still enjoys writing when she can.
Since joining us in June of 2013, Jen has helped us to organize processes and revamp our communications materials, including this web site! Jen is the “face” of RPPC to all who contact our office and will always greet you with a smile. Known for getting things done, she is the go-to contact for just about anything you could need at the church. Have a question? Give her a call (410-889-2001), send her an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or just pop in during office hours (Mon-Thurs, 9 AM – 2:30 PM; Fri, 9 AM – 12 PM).
