1. Reflection on Forgiveness:
• In Luke 7, Jesus teaches through a parable about two forgiven debtors. How does the idea of being forgiven freely, regardless of the size of your “debt,” impact how you understand grace?
• When has forgiveness—either given or received—changed your perspective or your relationship with someone else?
2. Compassion and Radical Hospitality:
• The woman showed extravagant hospitality toward Jesus. How does her example challenge or inspire your understanding of welcoming others?
• In what practical ways can we, as a church and individuals, embody this kind of radical hospitality today?
3. Gratitude as a Response to Grace:
• Pastor Mark suggests the woman’s act was one of gratitude, not shame. How can recognizing our own forgiveness lead us to live lives filled with gratitude rather than guilt or obligation?
• Can you think of a moment when your gratitude toward someone changed your actions or deepened a relationship?

• Jesus asked Simon, “Do you see this woman?” How might our interactions change if we intentionally tried to truly see others as children of God first?
