1. Lifting Jesus Up
• Luke tells us the disciples lifted Jesus onto the donkey—unlike the other Gospels. What might Luke be trying to communicate with this small but meaningful detail?
• Have you ever experienced needing to be “lifted up” in a spiritual or emotional sense? What did that look like?
2. When the Stones Cry Out
• Jesus says if the people were silent, the stones would shout out. What do you think this means?
• How does the idea that creation itself praises God shape how you think about worship?
3. Absence of Palms in Luke’s Version
• Luke leaves out the palm branches entirely. What impact does that have on the tone or message of the story?
• Why do you think Luke wants us to focus on what God is doing instead of the crowd’s actions?
4. God’s Concern for All Creation
• Pastor Mark emphasized that God’s care is not limited or exclusionary. How does this challenge the way we sometimes think about who “belongs” in faith spaces?
